Entrepreneur. Engineer. husband. father.

Hi, I'm Stephen.

AI INFRASTRUCTURE LEAD, SOLUTIONS ENGINEER, & PRODUCT BUILDER

I build the infrastructure that AI runs on, and the products that run on top of it. I’m currently Technical Manager & Deployment Lead at Comet Cloud. Previously I was Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Joltz, and before that a Senior Systems & Solutions Delivery Engineer at Dell Technologies.

At Comet Cloud I lead technical delivery of dedicated, single-tenant NVIDIA GPU clusters for our clients — currently building out HGX B300 (Blackwell Ultra) clusters end to end, from rack, power and liquid cooling through the InfiniBand and Spectrum-X fabrics to NCCL validation and customer acceptance. Vera Rubin systems are next on the roadmap.

At Joltz, from 2022 to 2026, I led my team to launch numerous highly complex and first of its kind bitcoin & stablecoin payments products and services; reaching a global user base of thousands of daily active users processing tens of thousands of dollars in payment volume.

At Dell, I’ve led engineering teams deploying some of the largest AI and HPC data center infrastructure projects in the United States; notably xAI’s ‘Colossus’ AI supercluster and Bank of America’s data center infrastructure across North America.

I enjoy turning complex technology into great user experiences

I'm Stephen Dodge, a highly driven and tireless technologist that loves building unique solutions to hard problems. I've been very fortunate in my professional career to be deeply involved in many first of its kind technologies, spanning: enterprise data center products, first to market bitcoin & stablecoin payment solutions, the largest AI supercluster (xAI's 'Colossus' 1, 2, & 3) in the world, and much more.

I’m proud to possess deep expertise across a broad range of skill sets and am very grateful for a diverse set of experiences from my 11+ years as a Senior Systems & Solutions Delivery Engineer at Dell Technologies. I lead enterprise-scale deployments of NVIDIA H100 & GB200/300 AI clusters and HPC products & solutions consisting of: GenAI servers, SAN/NAS storage arrays, IP/InfiniBand networking switches, liquid cooling systems, and more across various client production environments for many of the top Fortune 500 companies.

I’ve founded and built several startups from the ground up where I lead product development/strategy/design, cloud infrastructure, go-to-market strategy/ client delivery, B2B sales, team/business operations, venture capital/fundraising, legal, and HR. I've led my teams to deliver solutions that have processed hundreds of thousands in bitcoin payment volume for our customers and partners. I'm also extremely proud to have helped co-launch the world's first stablecoin (Depix) natively on Bitcoin's Lightning Network and to have launched the world's first fully trustless cross-chain bridge to Bitcoin's Spark Network; supporting all EVM chains, Solana, and more.

I bring creativity, grit, and limitless energy to everything I do. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, Formula 1, sim racing, tennis, football, and tinkering with the newest tech gadgets. I'm a proud husband and father of two.
